Volunteer at Morning Star
Do you have a heart for the unborn? At Morning Star, we depend on the generous hearts of volunteers who assist at every level of our organization. If you are interested in one of the opportunities listed below, or want to explore other ways that you can help, click here to fill out an application to learn more:
Opportunities for Individuals
Client Advocate
Have you ever wondered if you could “counsel” a person who is at risk for choosing to end a pregnancy or is facing the prospect of having a sexually transmitted disease?
Morning Star is in need of male and female advocates to meet with the men and women we see every day at our clinics. Counselors will be trained to meet with clients in need of maternity or baby supplies, support during pregnancy, or STD counseling.
Medical Volunteer
Do you feel called to support women or couples facing an unplanned pregnancy, or are you interested in educating men and women regarding their sexual health?
At Morning Star, medical professionals provide client teaching, STI testing and treatment, abortion pill reversal instruction, and other medical services and education. Opportunities exist for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, NPs, PAs, MDs, OB/GYNs, RDMSs, and more. To find out how you can join our team in providing love, compassion, and understanding to the men and women in our community, contact us HERE or fill out a volunteer application.
Clothing and Donation Team
Join our team of volunteers who receive, sort, and prepare for distribution the many baby clothing items and other donated materials that we receive. Volunteering as a clothing volunteer is a meaningful way to have a direct impact on young families in our community.
Office Support
Morning Star is in need of volunteers to help with a variety of office and fundraising tasks, including entering data into computers, photocopying and assembling packets for our school program, and assisting with mailings and special events. For more information on current needs, contact us HERE or fill out a volunteer application.
Baby Bottle Bucket Brigade
Every year, dozens of local churches participate in Morning Star’s Baby Bottle Blessing fundraiser, filling thousands of baby bottles with cash, checks, and coins. Healthy volunteers are needed to help with carrying heavy buckets of coins, loading them into and out of a vehicle, and processing them through the coin counting machine at a local bank.
Morning Star occasionally has specific volunteer needs not listed above. If you are interested in another volunteer opportunity, or if you have special skills that might be of interest to Morning Star, please reach out using our contact form or describe your situation when filling out your volunteer application. We look forward to speaking with you!
