When you register to attend, join or form a team, and fundraise for Morning Star, YOU are making a difference for Life in our community. Your support provides Life-affirming pregnancy medical services to women at risk for abortion in our community, as well as parenting education and ongoing support to help families thrive. Last year, Morning Star served 1,554 individuals in our community, providing 1,073 ultrasounds and giving 5,656 baby items to families in need.

Support Life in Central PA! Help us reach our fundraising goal of $125,000 to provide our services to more moms in our community—empowering them to have their babies. 5K Registration Entry Fee

After August 31: $40
Shirts to all runners guaranteed until 8/19. After 8/19, while supplies last.

Run Route
(Due to construction on City Island, run route may be modified slightly as the event date approaches. Please refer to week-of confirmation emails and event-day information to confirm the route.)
Start and Finish Lines are both located at the City Island Park Railroad.
- One lap around City Island
- Cross the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge
- Turn right and take path to the Riverside Walkway
- Turn right and run north along the river
- Turn-around located below the Sunken Gardens
- Return along Riverside Walkway and Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge
- Return directly to City Island Park Railroad to finish line
*Please note that this year’s lap around City Island runs along the village path.

Walk Registration Entry Fee — FREE
Shirts to all walkers who raise $35+. Enter funds raised online by 8/19 to guarantee a shirt. After 8/19, while supplies last.

- Turn left on to Front Street’s sidewalk
- Turn-around point at Harvey Taylor Bridge (Forster Street)
- Riverside sidewalk back
- Turn right to cross back over Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge
